About Rezup

Rezup is a free ATS resume checker and AI resume builder built for Indian students and professionals. We are based in India, priced in INR, and our recommendations are tuned for the way Indian recruiters and the job portals they use actually work.

Our mission

Most resume tools were built for the US market. They assume US salaries, US recruiter habits, US-style cover letters, and pricing that does not make sense for an Indian fresher earning a campus offer or a working professional saving for a course. We built Rezup so that an Indian student preparing for placements, or a professional trying to switch jobs in Bangalore or Hyderabad, can get genuinely useful resume feedback without paying western-sized subscription fees.

Who we serve

Indian students preparing for campus placements at IT services companies, product companies, banks, and startups. Working professionals with 0 to 10 years of experience who are switching roles within India or applying to multinational companies hiring for their India offices. We also work fine for global applications, but the depth of our data is in the Indian context.

How we source the data behind our recommendations

Every claim we make about Indian hiring, salaries, or ATS behaviour is sourced from a public reference. Our standard:

  1. India-specific stats from NASSCOM, Naukri JobSpeak, LinkedIn India, AICTE, AmbitionBox, FICCI-EY, or government publications.
  2. Where India-specific data is not yet published, we use global research from credible firms — Jobscan, ResumeGo, Ladders, BCG — and explicitly mark the source and date.
  3. We maintain a citation registry in our codebase (every sourced statistic has an id, a source URL, a year, and a last-verified date) so older claims can be re-checked or deprecated.
  4. We do not invent statistics. If a claim cannot be sourced, we do not make it.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your resume data. Resumes are stored with row-level security and are never shared with third parties or used to train AI models.
  • We do not lock the ATS check behind signup. The free tier is genuinely free, with no credit card.
  • We do not run trial conversions or auto-renew traps. There is no subscription on Rezup at all — AI is pay-as-you-go via Sparks (1 Spark = ₹1, minimum top-up ₹10, never expire), and every action's cost is shown up front before you click.
  • We do not recommend keywords or fixes we have not validated against actual Indian job postings.
